語学向上のため語学学校で徹底的に英語を勉強したい人、将来専門学校や大学に進学するのに必要な英語力を身につけたい人、旅行をしながら英語の勉強もしたい等、語学留学といってもそれぞれ目的が異なる事でしょう。又学校側も、一般英語コース、試験準備コース、進学準備コースなどの目的により選択ができるようになっています。ただ、試験準備コースや進学準備コースにはある程度の英語力が要されるため、まず一般英語コースで勉強をし、基礎の英語力を身につけてから、試験準備コースや進学準備コースに移る生徒が多いです。専門学校やTAFEの付属語学学校を卒業すればIELTS試験なしで入学可能な場合もあるため、専門学校やTAFEに入学を希望されている方は確認ください。
